About:

Kuzy, a game made in python, is a top-down survival style shooter.

It focuses mostly on its story: A mother fighting through the aftermath of an apocalypse to save her husband and daughter.

It's meant to be a little challenging and unforgiving, but rewarding when played right. Expect to be given just enough tools to make it through the swarms of enemies.

Controls:

• W,A,S,D to move
• right-click to interact (make sure you are close enough to whatever you want to interact with)
• left-click to shoot
• F to open inventory
• click on any item in inventory to view it

Dev notes:

The game was coded completely in python (which  I think is, at least somewhat, a flex).

Besides the reuse an old template I made, the whole game was made in less than 7 days.

The game was submited to the SCREAM JAM 2023

I'm super curious to see what people think (especially concerning the difficulty). Any feedback would be super helpful.
